My favourite thing about working at Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital is seeing and experiencing all the love the amazing and knowledgeable staff have for the clients and their pets. I love the atmosphere of the clinic and the way the staff and clients treat each other. I think it’s so cool that we are allowed to bring our pets to work and let them roam around.

Since I was little, I have always wanted to work with animals. I was always the little girl asking to pet dogs as they were walking by. I volunteered at the Central Alberta Humane Society as a dog walker for many years and I always loved it, although I wanted to bring all the dogs home. I have also volunteered and worked at the Animal Emergency Hospital.

Right now, I am working part-time at Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital, part-time at Original Joe’s Restaurant and part-time walking dogs under Dawgz Mobile and I love them all! One day I would love to open up my own boarding kennel.

I was born and raised in Red Deer. I live with my boyfriend Derek, my loving (but crazy) Border Collie/ Jack Russell mix, Keela and my adorable Crested Gecko, Tuko. I love lizards! I have also owned a chameleon and a leopard gecko in the past. In my spare time, I love biking, reading, exploring the Red Deer trails with Keela and hanging out with friends and family.
