Updated October 20, 2020

Dear Clients,

With the cold weather approaching, effective Monday, October 26th, we will be adjusting our policies to better serve you.

1. WE CAN SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

To book an appointment, please call 403-342-6040 or email info@lomsnesvet.ca. Due to higher than normal call volume, we may be busy with other clients and patients. Please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to accommodate everyone's needs.

2. SAFETY MEASURES FOR APPOINTMENTS

3. PAYMENT METHODS

Credit/Debit cards are the preferred payment method.

4. CHANGES TO CURBSIDE PICKUP

With the cold weather approaching we will be changing our curbside pickup protocol:

  1. For the purchase of food, treats and/or medications please call at least an hour ahead of time, and your order will be prepared. Prepaying over the phone is recommended.
  2. Our main door will be open for purchase/pickup of food, treats and medications only.
  3. You will be required to wear a mask and use our hand sanitizer in the clinic.
  4. If you have not already prepaid, you will pay for your order at the reception desk. Please maintain social distancing while in the clinic and do not wander throughout the clinic.
  5. Your order will be ready on a table with your name on it. Once you have paid for your order at the reception desk, you can pick it up from the table on your way out.

*Please note, only one person per family is allowed in the building to pick up items. To maintain appropriate distance, a maximum of 2 clients will be allowed in the building at a time to purchase items.

5. CHANGES TO OUR SATURDAY POLICY

We understand how important Saturday hospital hours are for our clients. Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital appreciates the dedication of our clients during this difficult time and we will continue to be open and available on Saturdays. However, due to the limited staff and the extra time required for proper sanitization between patients, we are not allowing clients to be present with their pet for the examination. This will allow us to continue to provide the high standard of care to our patients. Thank you for understanding.

6. ONLINE ORDERING

Online shopping is available for your pet from the comfort of your own home 24/7. Your order will be delivered directly to your home! Visit our website and click on "Online Store" to register. It’s that easy!

7. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE
