Our team continues to be here for you and your cherished pets. We are OPEN and are now able to provide a wide range of services. To learn more about the changes we have implemented in response to COVID-19 and what to expect during your next visit, click here.
I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. My favourite thing about the clinic is the professional level of care from all the team members and the ability to treat every patient as if it is our own.
My loving pets are a Golden Retriever named Rizz and Sparky, a stray cat. I am fortunate enough to become a grandmother to a grand cat! My daughter adopted Xena from the Central Alberta Humane Society.
What I love most about my job is that it’s humbling to be part of so many families and provide for their loving pet. From bearded dragons to hamsters, to cats and dogs, the joy of seeing the love and care clients have for their animals is why I love my job.
My husband Del is a teacher in the Red Deer School District and we have two children, Tanner and Kaitlyn. Our family is actively involved in the community and we are lucky to call Red Deer our home.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we can continue providing our full range of services, under certain restrictions. As our province enters the next phase of the reopening plan, we have some updates to share with you about our safety measures effective Monday, July 6, 2020.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
To book an appointment, please call 403-342-6040 or email email@example.com. Due to higher than normal call volume, we may be busy with other clients and patients. Please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to accommodate everyone's needs.
2. SAFETY MEASURES FOR APPOINTMENTS
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us at 403-342-6040.
We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns over the phone.
A staff member will then meet you at our ‘NOSE’ or ‘TAIL’ doors and escort you and your pet into one of our exam rooms.
One client per pet in the exam room.
Masks must be worn in the hospital at all times. Please bring your own mask. If you do not have one, we will supply you with one.
Use hand sanitizer once you enter the exam room.
Washrooms are for staff use only.
3. PAYMENT METHODS
Credit/Debit cards are the preferred payment method.
4. CURBSIDE PICKUP
We will continue curbside pickup for food and medications. Please call ahead of time, and we will get your order ready. (You can also use our online store and have your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
5. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE
If you wish to connect with a veterinarian via message, phone or video, visit our website and follow the "Online Consultation" link.
